The name “grizzly” stirs a certain kind of emotion in most of us. The grizzly bear, Ursus arctos horribilis, is a tremendously powerful creature capable of killing his prey with one stroke of his paw. This formidable creature represents great strength and is quite clever. Although the grizzly looks passive and loveable most of the time, he becomes a ferocious bundle of fury when protecting his cache.
May we too have the strength and determination to protect our own if their safety is threatened. Whether threatened physically or mentally by the forces of evil, may we all be a protector.
