“Dead Run to Silver City”
This sculpture is about the Silver City stage that ran from Winnemucca, Nevada up through Silver City, Idaho and on to Fort Boise, back in the 1870’s. It is based on a true story.

Life for the pioneers was not all that unlike that of the pioneer-spirited people of today. People willing to brave the unknown or the intense challenges that present themselves. We too may find ourselves occasionally running for safe ground as we strive to better our existence. May we keep that pioneer spirit alive as we, in whatever form, make our own “Dead Run to Silver City”.
It is cast in bronze and it is an edition of 39 pieces. 12″ X 60″
